Fun attractions for Spring Break (March 27-31st, 2023)

Here in Alberta, we have some of the best attractions for kids and kids at heart. With Spring Break just around the corner, there’s plenty of fun to be had near your Alberta rentals

The Telus World of Science in Edmonton, is a must visit Spring Break destination. This year, families can learn about Space and see a real moon rock, enjoy fun daily demonstrations on the science stage, or test their skills with Science FUNdamentals and brain teasers. Additionally, families can view a complete, life-size, blue whale skeleton and unlock the mystery of the world’s largest animal. During Spring Break, The Telus World of Science is open 9am to 6pm.

This is one of the best times of year to explore nature at Banff National Park. Just an hour away from our Calgary rentals, Banff offers families countless activities and adventures. At Banff you can tour caves, swim in hot springs, go on a sleigh ride, or ski. With the mild temperatures and plenty of snow, families will have plenty to keep them entertained all week long.

Step back in time at Fort Edmonton Park and learn about our community’s past. For the inquisitive, take a Paranormal Tour and become a paranormal investigator as you learn about what happens at Fort Edmonton Park after dark. Other attractions include train rides to different time in our history, wagon rides, and loads of fun, games, and rides at the Midway Exhibition

Learn about wildlife, animal behaviour, and conservation at the Calgary Zoo. This zoo aims to save, protect, and return wild species to their natural habitat. With their approach, guests can learn about animals and see what they need to thrive. With over 125 acres and 110 species from around the world, there’s always something to see and do.

If the weather isn’t cooperating during your Spring Break, take the fun indoors to the Muttart Conservatory. Here you’ll be able to bask in the tropical botanical gardens. There are 3 climate controlled biomes displaying fascinating and breath-taking plant life. Additionally, in the Feature Pyramid, you can explore spring with hundreds of tulips, lilies, daffodils, and some larger than life pollinators.
